SouthernSound 2025 contains eleven country music songs, and a special guest interview. But first, here’s the story behind this album … I wrote the lyrics to these songs over time, but could not afford to have them produced in the usual way (writing camp, songwriter, producer, vocal producer, mix/master, song rollout) which can cost roughly up to $1 million per song. And then, a new technology arrived on the scene. At first, I was reluctant to use AI for my music, until some local folks heard my first song. It was at that moment, I realized AI was truly able to help me put my words into music in an affordable way. And, I’m grateful for the chance to have that opportunity.
